Promo Mechanics and Guidelines

  1. The “Up to Php1,500 Cashback on Buy Now, Pay Later at SM (“Promo”) will run from August 8 to 11 (“Promo Period”). All transactions must be made within the Promo Period to avail of the offer.
  2. The Promo is open to all Principal and Supplementary Cardholders (“Cardholder”) of BDO ShopMore Mastercard (“Qualified Card”), whose accounts are active and in good standing (i.e. no past due) within the Promo Period and at the time of Cashback posting. 
  3. Offer: Up to Php1,500 Cashback with a minimum Buy Now, Pay Later (installment) single-receipt in-store purchase at SM Store and participating SM Retail Stores.

  4. Transactions must be paid in-store/over-the-counter using the participating Store’s POS terminal. This includes SM Store Personal Shopper transactions paid in-store/over-the-counter.

  6. Earning of Cashback (“Cashback”):
    1. Qualified Cardholders are pre-enrolled to the promo to earn as much as Php1,500 Cashback. No registration needed.
    2. A Principal Card is treated separately from the Supplementary Card.  
    3. Cashback earned by Supplementary Cardholder will be posted to the Principal account. 
    4. Qualified Cardholders will receive a Viber/SMS notification on or before September 16, 2024, upon successful posting of Cashback earned and will appear on the next Statement of Account (SOA) with transaction description SHOPMORE MC BUY NOW PAY LATER CASHBACK 8 8.  
  7. Cardholder understands that by joining the Promo, purchase must not be used to redeem from other ongoing BDO promos (e.g. Spend Anywhere Cashback, Supermarket Cashback, or any other similar discount promos). By choosing to redeem other offers before the Cashback awarding, Cardholder understands that these transactions will no longer be qualified under this Promo and may forfeit eligibility to earn the Cashback.
