Promo Mechanics

  1. The Promo will run from June 17 to July 31, 2024. All transactions must be made within the Promo Period to avail of the offer.
  2. To qualify, the customer must Scan to Pay using the BDO Pay app to get the Peso Points. No minimum amount required per transaction.
  3. Payments via Scan to Pay using the BDO Pay app can be done through the following:
    • Scan QR where the customer scans either the printed QR or the POS terminal of a BDO-acquired merchant. This applies to Debit Cards, Credit Cards & Deposit Accounts/Bank Accounts;
       

    • Show QR, where the customer generates a unique QR on their BDO Pay app and presents it to the merchant for scanning. This applies to Debit Cards, Credit Cards & Deposit Accounts/Bank Accounts;

    • Scan any merchant’s QR Ph code using the BDO Pay App. This applies to Debit Cards & Deposit Accounts/Bank Accounts only.
  4. New BDO Pay users will automatically get 10 Peso Points after signing up within the Promo Period. This shall be credited together with the Peso Points earned from the customers' Scan to Pay transactions.
  5. BDO Rewards Card/s or BDO Credit Card/s must be active upon the time of crediting.
  6. Peso Points earned will be credited within sixty (60) days after the end of the Promo Period and the customer will be notified via SMS. Peso Points earned will be credited to the customer’s Rewards Card number or the Credit Card. In case the customer used several accounts to pay, Peso Points will be credited to only one account, following the hierarchy below:
    • BDO Rewards Card of the customer
    • BDO Credit Card of the customer

      For customers who only have either an American Express or Diners Club credit card, the Peso Points will be converted to cash credit.
  7. In the event the customer does not have an existing BDO Rewards Card, BDO will assign a virtual Rewards Card where the Peso Points will be credited. The customer will receive their virtual Rewards Card number via e-mail.
  8. BDO Rewards Card customers can view and redeem their points through BDO Pay.
    • Download BDO Pay and login.
    • From your dashboard, scroll down and tap "Enjoy your Rewards Peso Points" then select "BDO Rewards".
    • Enter your 16-digit BDO Rewards card number then enter the One-Time Pin (OTP).
    • View and enjoy your Rewards Peso Points!

BDO Debit Cards, Credit Cards or Deposit Accounts/Bank Accounts may be used as a payment source account on the BDO Pay app in the following stores:

  1. Promo cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, sale or discounts, privileges, and VIP cards.
  2. In case of dispute, BDO's decision shall prevail with concurrence of DTI. All questions or disputes must be raised by the customer within sixty (60) calendar days from the end of the Promo Period.
  3. Cash credits awarded to American Express and Diners Club credit cards will be applied to any outstanding balance on the card.
  4. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the Peso Points, or cash credit as the case may be, if the qualifying transactions were disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions.
  5. It is the customer’s responsibility to update their contact information with BDO. Customers whose contact information in BDO's records are not updated, who have the same mobile/phone number or email address as another customer/account in BDO records, or who have opted out of receiving marketing communications from BDO based on BDO's records will not receive the communication about the Promo.
  6. Terms and Conditions governing the BDO Pay app shall apply regarding the use of the app.
  7. Terms and Conditions governing the use of BDO Accounts and Credit Cards shall apply.
  8. All questions or disputes regarding the customers' eligibility for the Promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with concurrence of DTI.
